This is the last full day that Zach and Maggie are staying with us. To celebrate, they do a lot of playing. Larry asks them if they want to got to Stew Leonards, but they tell him they are in the middle of a game. I ask if they want to go outside and help me in the garden, but tell me that they are too busy playing. Finally, they trot off to the playground with Cousin Judy and the dogs.

When we go out that night, Cousins Ned and Judy babysit. Ned lets the kids out on the golf course with flashlights after dark. When we come home, both Ned and Judy leave to spend the rest of the night with their friends.

On Sunday morning, cousin Judy has a big headache. Maggie and Zach gather all their stuff into many bags besides their travel luggage. Zach's luggage is filled with his one big army truck that we bought at Toys R Us.

Around noon, my brother and his wife show up to pick up Zach and Maggie. We have a nice lunch and say good-bye.

I wave as Maggie and Zach drive back home to Somerville. Since Judy is sick and can't complain about my clothes, I wear my pink panther pants. The house is very quiet all of the sudden.

I sit down at the computer to write more entries in my journal, but I fall asleep. When Larry and I go to the basketball game later, all we talk about is Maggie and Zach and what we can do next year to make their visit even better.
